The main goal of this project was to maximize the outdoor space with as many uses as possible. The backyard was a challenge of the 3ft of elevation change in a small space. Rather than try to bring in substantial fill material, we worked with the elevation and created an upper level terrace with the lawn and spa and a lower level with the fire pit and seating area. This created a totally new multi-use space with a lawn, spa, and seating area.
